Mark came into the care industry from a technical and IT background over ten years
ago, because he wanted to do something worthwhile and meaningful. He started as a
part time support worker for a private agency, but soon became disheartened by the
way they operated. He then worked for the NHS as both support worker and Care Manager.
When the NHS ended their role with support, he decided to go it alone, and as such
Progressive Support was born.
“From the very start I wanted this company to be totally
different, and to operate and treat it’s staff and clients in a much better way.”
Carla is a fully trained specialist nurse who moved into the care industry almost
fifteen years ago. She has worked for several companies in various roles, but has
never been satisfied with the way any of them have operated or treated their work
force or client groups.
Carla joined Progressive Support as Service Manager over tfive
years ago and has since been actively shaping the way the company operates and provides
its services. She is a firm believer of fairness and equality amongst both staff
and service users.
Caroline has been in the care business for over ten years. She started in home care
as a support worker, progressing to Acting Manager. She then went on to be Learning
Disability coach for several years before joining Progressive Support over three
years ago.
Now Caroline is Deputy Manager, helping to oversee the general operations
of the company, and aiding with the diversity of services we offer
